My why

Olive Juice Heirlooms was born from understanding what it means to love deeply, lose deeply, and still want something tangible to hold onto.
My own story has been shaped by profound loss, saying goodbye to 14 babies, navigating a surrogacy journey that ended in heartbreak, and rebuilding my life after the end of a 15-year marriage. Those chapters changed me. They taught me that when a person, a dream, or an entire season of life is no longer physically beside us, the love attached to it does not simply disappear.
That is why I create heirlooms.
For me, this jewellery is not about creating something pretty from an inclusion. It is about giving a memory somewhere to live. A piece you can touch, wear close to your body, pass your fingers over on a difficult day, and one day hand down with its story intact.
The Xanthie Ring is perhaps the most personal piece I have ever designed. Xanthie was the name intended for my daughter, and the ring was created from that chapter of my own loss. It represents a love that existed long before an ending changed the story and the belief that something can still be deeply ours, even when life does not unfold the way we imagined.
Every Olive Juice Heirloom is created with that understanding behind it.
Because I know that sometimes the smallest thing a little milk, ashes, hair, flowers, a pregnancy test, blanket or another precious inclusion, can carry an entire lifetime of love.
